LTS Welcomes New Staff, Marks
Retirements
LTS has welcomed several new staff
members in recent months. Steve Lewis returned to LTS as
Team Leader for Administrative Computing after completing
his Master’s Degree at Carnegie Mellon University.
Denise Campion has joined the LTS Arts
& Sciences Team as a Computing Consultant; she comes most
recently from Rodale Press. Bob Siegfried, Jr., has moved from
Instructional Media Services to the Help Desk Team as a Help
Desk Assistant.
Liangjie Hong, a graduate student in
Computer Science and Engineering, has joined LTS as the
second High Performance Computing Teaching Assistant.
In August two long-time LTS staff members retired, Help Desk
Assistant Valerie Van Billard (42 years) and Sr. Computing
Consultant Fred Wehden (31 years). CLIR Fellow Lauren Coats
departed for a position in the English Department at
Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge in July.
