Full 25 Years of The Web Of Science Now Online
The Web of Science is a major library database that enables
searching of scholarly literature across the sciences,
social sciences, and humanities. It enables not only topic
searching, but also "citation searching" for literature that
cites an item of interest. The latter is a powerful way to
develop a bibliography plus track who is citing one's own
scholarly output.
A ten-year backfile has been added so that Lehigh's
subscription now begins with 1983. Researchers will find
more cites to early articles, retrieve abstracts for much
more of the early literature, and be able to link to even
more full text. Available from the Database Finder (http://databases.lib.lehigh.edu/finder/)
