Digital media studio opening in Fairchild Library
Ed Gallagher, English Professor and Lehigh Lab Fellow, is deploying digital media to capture his students’ interest in “Digital Songs, Stories and Histories” aka English 11.17.
SGI Altix computer server online
Lehigh's most powerful computer became operational in late June. It is an SGI Altix 350 super computer known at Lehigh as Vega.

  Linderman renovation underway
Since the day final exams ended in May 2005 Linderman Library has seen a lot of changes: about 250,000 books moved out to various locations, lots of interior demolition, and scaffolding has enclosed much of the building.

LTS and Sigma Xi are cosponsoring a conference exploring the future of scientific publishing.
  Student designs for Asa Packer's 200th birthday
Special Collections Flyer 31 describes and illustrates student designs for books celebrating some aspect of Lehigh founder Asa Packer's life. The designs were done in Professor Thom Lepley's Graphical Design III class.
