Lehigh Key Partner in PennREN Networking Initiative
The U.S.
Department of Commerce announced in February that
Pennsylvania will receive $99.6 million, one of the largest
single-grant awards under the 2009 American Recovery and
Reinvestment Plan, to build the Pennsylvania Research

New LTS Residential Wireless Will Deliver Fast, Pervasive
Connectivity
Library
and Technology Services recently announced that it has begun
a project to upgrade the wireless networking capability of
Lehigh University student residential facilities so that
every room will gain enhanced access to wireless
connectivity.

“Power to the People” in Fairchild Library
New tables with
convenient power outlets on the top have been added to the north wing of
the main floor of the Fairchild Library very recently. The carrels have
been removed so that the space is open and inviting.
This area now makes a great place for students to use wireless laptops;

Major Book Shift
Scheduled for May in Fairchild Library
Immediately after exams end in May, a major shift of books
and journals will take place on the three upper floors of
